INFORMALNORTH AMERICAN
A person who enjoys the warmth and simple pleasures of being at home.
If you’d prefer a cozy night in binge watching Netflix shows or online shopping with nonexistent money instead of a night out partying; you’ve come to the right place. I have created Homebodyy to be a sanctuary for all lazy girls, introverts, and homebodies.

I am Arianna Graham, an aspiring interior designer currently studying business at Howard University in Washington, D.C. I have moved seven times throughout five different states in my life and my moving experience really impacted me. From having to move so many different times and always being on the house hunt, I naturally developed a passion for all things house and home. I am also an introvert, so after long days of putting in extra effort to be outgoing and make new friends in new states, I would always cherish my alone time being in the comfort of my own home. The aspect of home became important to me; in reality I never really felt like I had a home because I never stayed in one spot longer than four years. In every new room I moved into, I wanted my space to embody myself and be a safe haven. Home is not a place, it is a feeling.

As I moved on to college, each year I was placed in an 8×10 white box and was forced to call it home. From dorm restrictions to low budgets, it is a struggle to transform a dorm room into your oasis. I intend for Homebodyy to be a home decor blog that will help fellow young homebodies discover their identity through their home style and ensure that their home is where their heart is. I also aim for Homebodyy to spread a positive light on introverts and lazy girls like myself, somedays just being at home is the perfect place to be.
